We are pleased to announce that Network 211 and Child Guard Systems, Inc., a Richardson, Texas Risk Management Company, have joined together to make available a dynamic new child protection program. 

Until now only a few of the larger churches have been able to develop and implement a child protection program. Usually these programs are limited to distributing a written copy of policies and procedures and possibly providing some classroom training. 

While a great start, this type of system is difficult to administer and almost impossible to track let alone provide documented proof the participants even read or comprehended the material.

Child Guard Systems, Inc. has developed a web based platform to deliver for each individual church a customized child protection policy to include online video training and testing to assure comprehension.  Participant’s access their church’s customized content with a unique user name and password.  At their own pace and convenience, each participant will study their church’s Child Protection Policy, watch a training video and then be tested to document they understand and comprehend the material.  Upon successful completion, each participant is issued a certificate to demonstrate they have competed their church’s child protection training.

Each church will now have documented proof that it has a written Child Protection Policy; it provided training that is available and consistent to all and that it tested all workers to assure comprehension.

For churches that offer other than English speaking ministries, the content can be delivered in almost any language.

The system tracks each time an individual enters the website and additionally will advise the administrator of those that have or have not successfully completed the program.

This program can be a wonderful way to attract prospective new members that have young children because the parents will know the church is doing everything possible to safeguard their children while at the church.

Child Guard Systems, Inc. also offers Criminal Background Screening, Drug Testing and issuance of photo id badges with both child and parental information encoded in a magnetic stripe. The card is swiped when a child is dropped off at the church and again when picked up.  You now have documented proof of when and who dropped off and picked up any child in your charge.
